Jessica brings more than 7 years of food banking experience to her role at Feeding Louisiana. She left the for-profit world to find purpose and started as an intern at the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana in January of 2016. After completing her internship, she was hired as the Agency Services Manager for several years and then was promoted to Director of Operations. While working at the Food Bank of Northeast Louisiana she became acquainted with the Nourish Louisiana project and became very passionate about the role it plays in supporting local agriculture while helping provide fresh local food to those who struggle with hunger in Louisiana. Her goal is to grow the program and see that it continues in the future.

Jessica received her bachelor’s degree in health studies, management, and marketing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She received her master’s degree in non-profit management from LSU Shreveport. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Ouachita Council on Aging, is member of NELA PRIDE (An LGBTQIA+ organization in Monroe), and co-facilitates a monthly family support group for NAMI in Monroe. Jessica was a 2023 Top 20 Under 40 nominee as well as 2023 ULM Rising Young Alumni nominee. Jessica and her partner Ashley live in Monroe with their five dogs and four cats.
