Nourish Line is a multilingual call center to help qualifying Louisiana residents apply for food assistance and healthcare programs such as:

  • The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)

  • Louisiana Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program

  • SNAP Education resources

  • Medicaid

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation has awarded a grant to Feeding Louisiana for the expansion of Nourish Line. This grant will help us provide critical food and healthcare resources to even more of our neighbors facing food insecurity in Louisiana. An estimated 269,000 Louisiana residents qualify for SNAP but are not enrolled. Nourish Line is one of many ways Feeding Louisiana works to provide short-term food relief while seeking long-term solutions to hunger through advocacy, education, and leadership.
