MY SUCCESS STORY

First, I would like to express my joy in helping others. I have always been the “go-to” person, and I find joy in helping others. This month I received a referral from Ms. Kathleen (SNAP Coordinator). I made several attempts to contact this referral, however, no avail. The following week he gave me a return call. Upon speaking with him, he stated he knew my husband and my family from the Cooper Road area and that he played baseball with my brother back in the day. This referral stated that I helped his niece with her financial aid to attend college, and that I also assisted his older sister in obtaining her Disability Benefits. As the conversation went on I began to think how long ago that had been, and to know that he remembered and still expressed his appreciation just brought joy to my soul. He stated, “I see you still enjoy helping others,” and I replied “Yes, sir I always have and I always will!”
