Feeding Louisiana's Mission: To be a unified voice for Louisiana’s hungry by providing short-term food relief while seeking long-term solutions to hunger through advocacy, education, and leadership.
Bucket Defined: A "bucket of work" is a group of similar tasks, responsibilities, or activities that fall under a common category. For example, “SNAP Nutrition Education” might fall under the bucket of education or neighbor services; it wouldn’t stand alone as its own bucket.
Your Task: Reflect on our mission and the work Feeding Louisiana currently does. We know that advocacy, education, and leadership are core "buckets" directly tied to our mission. Now, consider the following list of potential buckets and choose three that you believe best represent or should represent our organization’s priorities. You may also create a new bucket if you feel something important is missing.
